As soon as I walked into the party, the host dubbed me \u2013 and everyone else walking in \u2013 by adding O\u2019 in front of my last name. \u201cToday, you\u2019re Irish!,\u201d he\u2019d proclaim. Oh!, I thought, O\u2019\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0Paddy! I\u2019m all about St.\u00a0Patrick. Why, that patron saint is the whole reason I am Catholic today! Because, you know, I <i>am<\/i> Irish. Well, that and a bunch of other American things.<\/p>\n<p>I love New Orleans, and art, and music. I\u2019m consumed with the things that make our lives more beautiful as we move through the city on the way back and forth to commerce, offices, markets, family, and every kind of routine destination.
